After withstanding, the mass of Russian missile attacks on their civilian population and power plants, Ukraine is fighting back. According to the military ministry of Ukraine, a strike was made against a Russian air base close to the city of Kursk. This is the third time Ukrainians have successfully attacked bases that are deep inside the country of Russia. In honor of Armed Forces Day, Ukrainian President Zelensky paid his troops in Eastern Ukraine a visit and promised to liberate them. The land Russia has seized, including Crimea, by the way, and while exact numbers are unconfirmed. Russia's military losses in Ukraine are double the number of US servicemen who had died in Vietnam. Just one-tenth of the time, the Pentagon recently said 100,000 Russians had been killed or wounded so far, wiping out about half of Russia's fighting force in the region for a closer.
